Day 1: San Francisco
Arrive at San Francisco International Airport and check in at the Hertz rental office. Pick up the vehicle you chose for your tour (Sedan, convertible, van, or SUV). Day 2: San Francisco
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then head down to Fisherman’s Wharf. From there you will be boarding the Bay Cruise for a tour of the famous Alcatraz Island and prison. The beautiful cruise on the bay and the visit to the island are sure to be one of the highlights of your day. The afternoon can be spent sightseeing or shopping. Day 3: Sonoma
After breakfast its time to head to the beautiful wine country of Napa Sonoma. You will first travel across the incredible Golden Gate Bridge, make sure you stop and take some pictures! Visit some wineries (we will provide you with a list of the best ones to visit) and explore the town of Sonoma, one of the first settlements in California. By this time you will be ready to check into your beautiful lodging for the night.

Day 4: Yosemite Valley
After breakfast its time to head to the spectacular Yosemite Valley. You will first travel across the Sacramento Valley and then wind your way up through the Gold Country to Yosemite. We will suggest some wonderful stops along the way. Then it is on to your beautiful Yosemite Lodge, your home for the next two nights. Soon after you get to the valley make sure you visit majestic Yosemite Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in the world.

Day 5: Yosemite
Today after a hearty breakfast you will be exploring Yosemite Valley by bicycle, the best way to see the valley. Then after lunch it is time to hop back in your car for an incredible drive to Glacier Point, the most spectacular view of Half Dome and the park. We will provide you with all the must see destinations and restaurants in the park so you are able to maximize the enjoyment of every minute of your stay.

Day 6: Monterey/Carmel
After breakfast it is time to visit the exquisite Monterey coast. Your drive will take you across the San Joaquin Valley, an agricultural wonderland, then to the Monterey Peninsula. After lunch we have reservations for you at the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium a must see during your visit. Then its time to check in to your beautiful lodging, your home for the next two nights. Day 7: Monterey/Carmel
After breakfast it is time to drive the famous 17 mile drive along the coast. You will want to stop along the way to savor the majestic beauty of this part of the California Coast. Sea Lions and Sea Otters abound in this area so keep your camera handy. After a gourmet lunch you can play the famous Pebble Beach Golf Course or visit the wonderful shops of Carmel. There are many different activities here to enjoy and we will provide you with the best of the best to choose from.

Day 8: Hearst Castle/Cambria
Enjoy breakfast then begin your journey south to Hearst Castle. You will be driving along famous Highway One through Big Sur and down the rugged and scenic coast of California. When you arrive at Hearst Castle you will be taking a special tour to the top of the mountain and the site of the Castle. Tonight you will be staying right on the coast in Cambia, a delightful seaside village.

Day 9: Los Angeles
After breakfast you will be driving to Los Angeles, your home for the last two days of the tour. You will be driving south along the picturesque coastline to Santa Barbara where you can stop and have a relaxed lunch along the waterfront and a walk on the beach. From there you will be driving to Los Angeles, home to movie stars and one of the largest and most exciting cities around. Day 10: Los Angeles
After breakfast you will be heading to the world famous Getty Center. After lunch its time to do some major shopping at Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and a ride through the streets of movie stars.
